New Search features in Learner v7.1

Learner Gets new Search Features in v7.1

We have made some very useful changes to the Search feature in Learner for 7.1.  Here’s a look at the new Search page.  The new features are described below.
NewSearch

Multiple Media

Before 7.1, you could only select one media code, or you could select all media codes. Now you can choose one or more specific media to search.

Sorting

In version 6.3 and earlier, you could not choose the sort order of your results; data was always sorted by relevance.  Now you can sort the results by Relevance, Course Title, Course Media or average Course Rating.

Course Ratings

Course Ratings, new to 7.1, are displayed for each search result.  The stars show the average rating, while the total number of ratings is shown in parenthesis after the stars.  In the example screen shown above, the Labor Relations course has an average rating of 4.5 stars and has been rated by 4 students.
