My Community in Learner 7.2

A major focus of Learner 7.2 is social learning.  As part of this focus, we have added blogs, skill endorsements, and the new People Search feature.  Much of this new social learning information is also available on the My Community page.

About Me

The “About Me” page shows your bio, interests and skill endorsements.  Here you can update your bio and interests, and add new skills.  You can also delete skills… but be careful.  When you delete a skill you are also deleting any endorsements for that skill.

AboutMe

If a skill shows “0” endorsements, it means you have added the skill but no one has yet endorsed you.

People

The People tab allows you to browse the organization around you.
People

Here you can see:

  1. Richard Arnot reports to Jacques Pettitmon.  To see other people that report to Mr. Pettitmon, just click his “contact card” (the grey box).
  2. At the bottom of the page, you can see that 7 people report to Mr. Arnot.  Click on any “contact card” to see the “People” tab for that person.

Blogs I Follow

We covered this tab in “Well, just Blog about it! New in Learner 7.2, Blogs (Part 2)“.
