As general rule, an inactive course should not be assigned as a training requirement. To help prevent this from happening in your system, we have added a check that will warn the user if the course is assigned as a requirement when a course is inactivated.
Because courses can be owned by one site and requirements can be owned by a different site, we cannot allow the removal of requirements during the course inactivation, as this would allow one site to modify another site’s data. Instead, we are notifying the user that the course is used as a requirement and giving the user the opportunity to run a Find Requirements report that will show all the requirements associated with the course from all sites in the system. The report will show all the requirements that should either be removed or modified as a result of inactivating this course.
