RISC is please to announce that Duncan Welder, Director of Client Services, has been appointed as Director of Special Interest Groups for ATD Houston. Each group has a specific focus: eLearning, Career Transition, Mentors, and Young Professionals. The goal of the SIGs is to further support ATD Houston’s mission of serving the educational and professional development needs of its members.
When asked about his new role, Duncan stated:
I am honored and excited to be asked to act as Director of Special Interest Groups for the ATD Houston Chapter. The Houston ATD provides many professional development opportunities to the Houston L&D community as well as support for Houston organizations. I believe the Special Interest Groups hold a special place in that mix by bringing together learning professionals around focused topics to encourage idea sharing, growth in the Learning industry, inter-company corporation within Houston.
